So we are sitting in the turning lane at the red light and he is in front of me the light turns green and he bolts into oncoming traffic and makes his turn - Oncoming traffic almost hits him honking their horns. Then we get to the next traffic light that is red, and he peels out making a right turn like its nobody business.

If you would use your directional light I can see you want to get in and will allow you to.
